In 2020, hip hop superstar Cardi B was photographed at Paris Fashion Week wearing a loosely fitting skeletal ski mask embellished with blue smoke. Fast forward two years later. The brand behind that balaclava, EcoSysLA, has taken the streetwear world by storm. The philosophy behind the brand’s design comes from its founder and creative director Kai, also known as 2013keezy. EcoSysLA’s brand centers around one idea: boldness. By being fearless in their experimentation, the end product is a clothing line grounded in authenticity.
